Learning and Development Manager - Balmalcolm and Orkie (Freuchie)

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Shaping and implementing a forward-thinking L&D strategy across the organisation
  • Leading and managing the L&D function and team
  • Overseeing Inductions, Technical, HSE, MHE & Development training – both internally & externally
  • Delivering engaging training sessions & inductions when required
  • Ensuring training compliance through audits, record-keeping & scheduling refresher courses
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality training materials for various disciplines
  • Managing and processing MHE Training certificates

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

  • Proven management experience in L&D – you're confident leading and inspiring a team
  • An engaging and enthusiastic personality – you bring energy and passion to everything you do
  • Excellent communication skills – you can engage with employees, managers, and external training providers with confidence
  • Strong organisational & project management skills – you can juggle multiple tasks with ease
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) – because details matter
  • A flexible, collaborative approach – you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

Working hours are - Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Salary - £40,000 per annum
