We were honoured to sponsor the Young Volunteer of the Year category at Fife Voluntary Action's Fife Volunteer Awards 2024. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the outstanding contributions of young volunteers in our local community.
Our finance director Liz Waugh presented the prestigious award to Kerys Wilson, a dedicated volunteer from the Clued-Up Project. Kerys was recognised for her unwavering commitment and hard work in supporting young people affected by substance abuse.
The Clued-Up Project, based in Kirkcaldy, Fife provides essential support and information services to young people under 26 who are dealing with substance use issues. The incredible work that Kerys and her fellow volunteers do is a source of inspiration for all of us at Kettle Produce. The team at the Clued-Up Project plays a crucial role in making a positive impact on the local community, offering hope and support to people.
Liz commented: “Kerys is a shining example of the power of volunteering, demonstrating how volunteers can make a significant difference in the lives of the people that they support. Kerys, your efforts are truly appreciated, and we encourage you to continue the fantastic work you are doing.
“At Kettle Produce, we believe in the importance of giving back to our community and supporting initiatives that make a real difference. Sponsoring the Young Volunteer of the Year award aligns with our values and our commitment to fostering positive change. We are proud to support Fife Voluntary Action and the incredible volunteers who are making our community a better place to live.”
